The short version: we text you because you asked us to, we will not sell your number, and you can stop it any time by replying STOP.

Who is texting you

How you get on the list

Only by choosing to. That means one of these:

• You texted us first, including tapping a text link on this website.
• You texted a keyword to join a ministry group, for example texting Gather to 270-560-0894 for Young Adults.
• You gave us your mobile number on a form here and asked us to follow up.

We do not add numbers we were not given, and we do not buy lists.

What we send

• Replies. If you text us a question, a person answers it.
• Ministry updates for the group you joined: when it meets, where, and what is changing.
• Event and service information, such as a registration closing or a service time moving.
• Follow-up to something you asked for, like planning a visit or a prayer request.

We do not send advertising, and we do not text on behalf of anyone else.

How often

Message frequency varies. There is no set schedule. Some weeks bring nothing at all, and a week with an event or a change of plan may bring several.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them depending on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.

Stopping the messages

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one confirmation, and then nothing further.

If you change your mind, reply START or text us again, and you can also just call the church office and ask. Stopping texts does not remove you from anything else; you are still welcome at everything.

Reply HELP to any message for help, or call (270) 883-1758.

Your number

Mobile information and texting consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. The only companies that handle your number are the ones that deliver the messages for us, and they may not use it for their own purposes. Our full Privacy Policy covers the rest.

Things outside our control

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery also depends on your device and your signal, so please do not rely on a text alone for anything urgent. If something is urgent, call us.

Supported carriers

Messaging works on major US carriers. Carrier support can change, and carriers are not responsible for the content of our messages.

Changes

If these terms change we will change the date at the top of this page.
