Want to Lead a Group?
You don't need to have it all together to lead a group. You just have to be willing to let God use you. A group can be as simple as gathering people for coffee or as involved as leading a Bible study, and we'll support you the whole way. Here are the three steps.

Questions people actually ask
When and where do groups meet?
Our groups meet all over Paducah and the surrounding area, on different days and at different times. Some meet in homes, some meet at the church, and some meet wherever is easiest for the people in them. Browse the open groups to see what fits your week.
How do I find a group that's the right fit for me?
Start with the list of open groups. You can see when each one meets, who it's for, and what it's built around, everything from Bible studies to groups that just share a meal. If you're still not sure, reach out and we'll help you find one.
How long does a group last?
Groups come in different lengths and formats. Most curriculum groups meet for 9 to 12 weeks, while other groups determine their schedule based on what works best for the group.
Do I have to be a member to join a group?
No. You don't have to be a member, and you don't have to have your life figured out. Groups are one of the easiest ways to get to know people here, and plenty of people join a group before they would call Four19 home.
What if I join a group and it's not a fit?
Tell your leader and they'll help you find a different one. We'll not take it personally. We would rather you be in a group you actually look forward to than stay in one out of politeness.
What if I miss a week?
That happens, and it's fine. Just let your leader know so they're not wondering where you are. If life gets busy for a stretch, stay in touch with them rather than disappearing, and you'll always be welcome back.
I can't find the kind of group I'm looking for.
Then you may be the person to start it. If you see something missing, apply to lead. A group can be a Bible study, or it can be a few people who run together on Saturday mornings. We'll help you build it.
What curriculum do groups use?
Groups can use any of our Four19 Group Studies, which are free and written for our church, or a leader can bring something else. Everything in ROOTED, FORMED, EQUIPPED, and GATHER comes with a leader guide, so you don't have to be a teacher to lead one.
